Panchnada is a new e-commerce that is Shopify-based, specifically related to Ayurvedic products. The vision of the creation of the site was to make natural wellness products easily accessible to customers all over the world and provide the admin with an advanced control panel to track the development of the business. The platform is a harmonious shopping experience to the customer and robust analytics and management to the admin that form a complete digital ecosystem of Ayurvedic commerce.
Challenges
Regardless of the benefits of the construction of an Ayurvedic business platform, there were a number of major challenges in the creation of a smooth experience. Another significant challenge was data management whereby the information of the customers, products, and other order history could be destroyed and scattered among tools and consolidation was difficult.
Security and trust were also paramount and sensitive customer information and online payments required high authentication and adherence to international e-commerce standards. Manual processes left bottlenecks in confirmations, returns and reporting that slackened the operations where automation was most required.
With the expansion of the platform, scalability started to turn into a problem, there was the necessity to manage the increase of the number of users, orders, and make sales all over the world without impacting the performance. The other critical issue was customer interaction, as effective communication, effective notifications, and customized recommendations to retain users and ensure their satisfaction was required. Finally, analytics had to be more than just numbers, and offer practical information that could inform business choices and future development.
